The River Carron is a popular small river in the Stirlingshire and Falkirk District. The bulk of the river is managed by Larbert and Stenhousemuir Angling Club. Access would be considered excellent in most places and is popular with anglers both young and old thanks to the reasonable permit prices for both day and season tickets.
Youth / Junior tickets are especially popular thanks to the surrounding urban areas giving ease of access to the younger generation.
