This high-quality construction ensures corrosion resistance in the salt and enables the reel to be used on trips for many years to come whilst also helping to keep the weight of the reel down preventing fatigue during intense battles.

The Sage Thermo Fly Reel boasts an ultra-robust SCS (Sealed Carbon System) drag package, meticulously engineered and tuned for extreme fights. With 0 to 20lbs of drag, experience unparalleled consistency in drag pressure throughout the entirety of a fight. This robust SCS drag system also dissipates heat generated on long fast powerful runs preventing any damage being done to the reel.

Featuring a user-friendly one-revolution drag knob with numbered and detented settings, the Thermo offers 20 easy-to-see drag settings for precise adjustments even in the heat of battle. Fine-tune your drag to perfection with 39 detents, accommodating any leader and tippet combination with ease helping to prevent any break off's.

Designed for fast line pick-up, the large arbour spool of the Thermo ensures quick retrieval when you need it most. Its concave, ported arbour enhances strength and capacity, allowing you to fill the reel with 400 yards of GSP backing, more than enough line to cover the longest of runs.
