Details

The Gripshooter is a hybrid of a standard fly line type running line and the far shooting, yet awkward to handle at times nylon alternative. This unique new shooting line from RIO, combines the best of both worlds, without any of the disadvantages.

Based on the slim nylon SlickShooter, but with a thick, coated handling section similar to a fly line that makes it very easy to grip in cold conditions. The thin nylon shooting line gives casters maximum distance, is light enough to hold off the water at range and allows anglers great control of their head and fly far out in the swing.

Another winning advantage is that the fly line style front end section allows RIO to fit a neat little 8 inch welded loop, removing the concern of how to join your nylon running line to the shooting head.

Available in 3 different breaking strains:

35lb in Green/Orange colour
44lb in Red/Orange colour
50lb in Yellow/Orange colour

Thick, highly visible handling section for grip, durability and visibility

Excellent product. Really slick, adds yards to your cast but needs stretching regularly to avoid tangles Review by Jimbospey (Created 08/09/2015)
