Airflo Switch Black Cassette Fly Reel

The Airflo Switch Black Cassette Fly Reel takes everything anglers loved about the Switch Pro and brings it into the modern era. This is the ultimate cassette reel for stillwater and salmon anglers. A true large arbour reel with a lightweight cage and an even lighter spool!

Each reel has been built with a V cut spool to increase the total line capacity of your reel, this allows you to hold far more backing line in comparison to other cassettes. This is ideal for when fish run as it gives you more line to work with. It will also comfortably house Airflo’s Forty Plus lines.

The Airflo Switch Black Cassette has been designed with a large arbour which allows the line to retrieve quicker when reeling in a fish. This is perfect as it allows you to quickly pick up any slack line when you hook into a fish and play fish much more quickly to minimise the amount of stress they are under, helping them recover more quickly.

These reels have been built with a bomb-proof drag that can handle fish of all shapes and sizes, the smaller model will easily handle specimen sized trout whereas the larger reel will be able to handle fresh run salmon with ease. This allows you to fish with total confidence knowing no matter what you hook into your reel won’t let you down.

Each reel comes with its own carry case and 5 spools. This allows you to spool up and quickly change a range of fly lines when on the water depending on what the water conditions call for. This is perfect for fishing a variety of water depths in a given session. This is one of the reasons these reels are beloved among competition anglers.
