Snowbee XS-Plus Spectre Distance Fly Line

With the development of Nano coating this has allowed Snowbee to improve their fly lines and create the brand new Snowbee XS-Plus Spectre Distance Fly Line. The new Spectre series fly lines boast a new profile, extending the range of Snowbee’s traditional XS fly lines and these lines are now 30ft longer in total length to account for their incredible performance.

Each line has the same 47ft length head, although to help achieve the benefit of longer casts, the profiles have been tweaked to optimise performance. The 7ft front taper provides anglers with good turnover at a longer range.

Traditional XS fly lines have a rear taper which starts at an estimated 31 feet, whereas on the Spectre lines the rear taper starts at a much extended 39ft. As a result this provides a load point which is much longer than normal but it is still really manageable.

Snowbee lines are well known for being extremely thin. By extending the head length this adds weight to the overall head when fully extended without increasing wind resistance through bulk. The additional weight is only small although the benefit is that it produces a much better load flex in the fly rod for the same effort.

This floating line will provide anglers with long smooth accurate casts when you are fishing dries such as buzzers or damsels.

The Snowbee XS-Plus Spectre Distance Fly Line has been specially designed for excellent casting even in the hands of less experienced fly fishers and therefore is a brilliant option for beginners and experienced fly fishers.
