Description / Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Roach
The Savage Gear 3D Line Thru Roach has an innovative line thru system that helps to reduce damage to your catch and the lure itself. This soft bait has incredible, life like details that perfectly mimics a Roach, a prey that many fresh water predators are very fond of.
You can use the 3D Line Thru Roach for casting, trolling and many other fishing applications. The design uses real 3D scanned details of a Roach for a phenomenal life like appearance and one that is sure to fool even the wariest of Predators. It also has added scent for increased attraction.
The ultra soft fins on the lure will move naturally with micro movements when in the water and the high body profile produces a great sliding S curve. The superb water movement combined with the amazing details will make it impossible for Pike not to go for!
The innovatively designed Line Thru system helps to reduce damage to the fish and the 3D Roach lure. The best way to use this system is to have the line thru modifier system sitting in the belly, which allows the line to run up through the hook slot so the hook will sit outside the body of the lure.
This means that when fish attack, they will go for the broader part of the lure so the hook will sit perfectly in the jaw every time. The hook and the line thru system will then pull out so the lure will run up the line and away from the mouth of the Pike. This gets your lure away quickly so Pike can’t use the weight of the lure to throw the hooks and it will protect the lure from being damaged by Pike teeth.
The Line Thru Roach is available in two different sink options. The slow sinking version has the line going through the mouth of the lure and fishes at a shallow depth. The moderate sink option has the line coming through the lure's forehead which will make the lure keel down and keep it down at depths of 3 to 4 metres.
