Description / Salmo Slider
The Salmo Slider is a highly effective jerbait, also known as a glidebait and has a durable hardy body with an enticing action that is sure to lure in plenty of Predator fish.
The uniquely designed shape and action makes this lure a very popular choice and the size 5cm Slider from Salmo is the smallest glidebait in mass production anywhere in the world. The Slider has a side to side and quick, sudden swimming action that is sure to attract attention.
The lure features a strong, hard body and has a through wire construction. It is decorated in stunning colours and details and is also fitted with premium VMC hooks.
The most popular way to fish the Slider is to use a series of fast rod strokes while retrieving quickly and it is good to cast the lure first and practice retrieves to see how the Slider behaves so you can get your timing right. Practising this will let the Slider turn acutely from side to side, each turn at a right angle to the direction of retrieve.
If you are fishing in low temperatures of 2°C – 5°C, the Slider is best fished slowly and he pausing for approximately 3 seconds between gentle jerks. With the sinking Slider, the subtle movements created from when it sinks is a real attraction for Predators.
