Description / Hardy Marquis LWT
Presenting the re-modelled version of a Hardy classic, the Hardy Marquis LWT fly reel. This little beauty features a reduced weight and an improved range of adjustment to deliver a reel that not only performs well but still can take centre stage with its classic, modern look.
The updated styling of the reel is subtle so traditional anglers will still appreciate the classic style found within this reel and anglers are sure to admire that these reels are made in their home, in Alnwick in England.
The Bar stock 6061 construction provides this reel with phenomenal durability, power and strength and the modified porting technique used for this reel helps reduce the weight, without sacrificing the strength.
Improvements from the original Marquis on the new LWT version include an improved range of adjustment as well as indented regulator buttons to adjust the drag on the reel. The Click Check drag system can be adjusted using the knob on the back of the reel and will make a highly attractive clicking noise with each turn.
The spool is easily released from these reels by simply pushing the small lever on the front to one side and gently pulling the spool to release.
The Hardy Marquis LWT has a gunmetal finish and is available in a range of model sizes that you can select from our drop down menu.
