Frozen North Fly Fishing

Frozen North Fly Fishing (FNF) was set up by successful international angler Kevin Porteous who always strives to develop new innovative fly tying materials to help put more fish in the net. Since launching their flagship product FNF Jelly Fritz in 2016 the team have went on to develop a number of other successful synthetic fly tying materials that have been tried and tested on the competition circuit. With a hugely successful team involved involved in the design and development process, their goal is to stay on the front foot developing new products for you to try whilst still producing their firm favourites to a consistently high quality. We stock a range of products from Frozen North Fly fishing with numerous colours and types of materials for you to choose from, allowing you to create some top fish catching patterns.
Frozen North Fly Fishing, better known as FNF, is a Scottish brand making waves in the world of fly tying with its innovative range of synthetic materials.

Although relatively new to the market, the team behind FNF brings decades of combined angling experience and multiple international caps, ensuring every product is designed with serious fly anglers in mind.

FNF made their mark in 2016 with Jelly Fritz, a standout synthetic material for tying vibrant stillwater and river patterns. Since then, they’ve expanded their range with versatile fibres known for their colour, movement, and durability at the vice and on the water.

From blob and lure materials to micro fritz and booby fibres, FNF products are trusted by fly tyers across the globe to help create effective patterns that catch fish time and again.

We stock a growing selection of FNF’s most popular fly tying materials, designed to inspire creativity and success at the vice. These products are ideal for anglers looking to experiment with new patterns or fine-tune proven classics using materials developed by those who truly understand competitive fly fishing.
