Description / FNF Talon Vice
Introducing the world renowned FNF Talon Vice, a vice that has been heavily influenced by the design of the original highly sought after Law vice. These vices have been manufactured with the highest quality components available to ensure this vice will last a lifetime!
Engineered and built using nuclear grade CNC machinery and design software to create a precision vice that provides incredible performance. The extremely powerful jaws provide a secure grip on any hook from a size 30 right up to larger 2/0 predator and saltwater hooks. The adjusting star knob enables you to adjust the jaws so you can bite down on the hook, securing it in place so you can tie with peace of mind. These jaws also have two designated grooves to accommodate holding a range of hook sizes.
Featuring a two bearing (SKF Bearings) rotary system which is housed in the body of the vice which provides an extremely smooth and adjustable rotation making tying in materials and viewing you flies from different angles a breeze.
The Talon has a stainless steel shaft and extension bar which enables you to raise and lower it to your desired position depending on where you are tying. The Talon height can be adjusted by 150mm using the shaft locating boss and extension arm ensuring a comfortable tying position.
Each vice is mounted on a 2 kilo base which enables you to tie anywhere and take your vice on the go whilst the built in pockets enable you to store tools beside the shaft. The base plate also has a recess to ensure beads and other smaller items don’t roll off. The Talon is supplied with a protective carry case for maximum protection when transporting and storing.
