Description / Airflo 5ft Salmon Polyleaders
The Airflo 5ft Salmon Polyleader is primarily used to help improve turnover and fly presentation due to their tapered design. The tapered design will help to ensure the fly looks as natural as possible in the water, reducing the chances of spooking big wary fish.
Available in a wide range of densities, the 5ft Airflo Salmon provide an arsenal of options to Salmon anglers, allowing you to fish with floating line, all the way down to extra fast sinking line.
Densities and sink rates below:
Clear Floating = 0
Clear Hover = 0.5”/sec
Clear Intermediate = 1.5”/sec
Slow Sink = 2”/sec
Fast Sink = 3”/sec
Super Fast Sink = 5”/sec
Extra Fast Sink = 7”/sec
Attach these to the end of your fly line, add your choice of tippet to make up to length and attach flies.
Also available in a 10ft Salmon version and 5 & 10ft Trout.

Must have one as helps to find the fish in deeper pools

I ordered and used a super fast sinking leader to take my fly into the deeper pools and it worked very well as got a salmon from the river bed. Good to cast as not too heavy even for me as a beginner. Highly recommended product and online service.

Airflo leaders are the best!
Even better is the service you get from Stirling Angling Centre. I ordered the goods in the afternoon of 10th September & they were delivered by Royal Mail the next day ... unbelievable! The website has also improved vastly and is now more user friendly and easier to navigate. If SAC can continue to compete with the likes of Norris & the Glasgow Angling Centre, I'll definitely be using them as my 'local' dealer.
