Description / Veniard Turkey Marabou
The Veniard Turkey Marabou feather is one of the most popular fly tying feathers that is used today, partly down to their versatility and also their low cost. They are most commonly used for Trout fly tying, specifically Lures.
The feathers are mainly used as tails, bodies and wings. They are so soft and fluffy that they give off a natural and pulsating effect when in the water which is highly attractive to fish.
Common Lure flies with the Turkey Marabou is the Ms Damsel, the Tequila Cat and Black Diver.
The Turkey Marabou feathers come in a variety of stunningly bright colours which are Mixed, White, Black, Blue Kingfisher, Chartreuse, Dark Claret, Coral, Green Highlander, Olive Brown, Dark Olive, Olive Golden, Light Olive, Medium Olive, Olive Dun, Flu Orange, Hot Orange, Peach, Flu Pink, Light Pink, Purple, Red, Flu Red, Bright Yellow, Flu Yellow and Sunburst Yellow.
Please note that the Mixed packet contains the colours White, Black, Orange, Olive and Brown.
These selected large feathers come in a 2g bag so will provide you with plenty of usable feathers. These bags are hand packed so please be aware that the quantity will vary.
