UNI Thread 8/0 Waxed 200yds

The UNI Thread 8/0 Waxed 200yds fly tying thread is one of the most popular tying threads on the market and can be found in almost ever fly tyers collection! This pre waxed thread is super strong whilst still being incredibly fine at the same time, making it the perfect fly tying thread for tying a wide variety of flies, from the smallest trout dry flies to the largest salmon doubles and tubes.

Made from polyester filaments that have been been slightly bonded, when tied on the hook UNI thread flattens out, helping to reduce any unnecessary bulk keeping your fly patterns nice and neat. The UNI 8/0 fly tying thread is also pre waxed upon spooling which provides it with extra grip so when tying in materials it keeps everything nice and tight helping prevent materials from pulling out. This also helps when applying dubbing to the thread.

With its incredible strength for such a reduced diameter it has become a firm favourite with fly tyers all over the world as it enables them to apply more securing wraps of thread to their flies without adding additional bulk.
