Description / UTC Ultrawire
UTC Ultrawire is a popular fly tying copper wire for tying ribs and full bodies on Nymph flies. This wire is perfect for re-creating a full wired body seen on the well known Copper John Nymph pattern.
The UTC Ultrawire is available in a huge variety of colours and is a non-tarnishing wire. This means that the colours will continue to be super bright and vibrant on your flies, long after they have been tied and used.
This copper wire is very flexible and durable and you can use the wire to easily form an entire body or use it to create a rib on your fly. You can also make an entire fly from Ultrawire or even mix two different colours together for a more vibrant pop of colour.
The UTC Ultrawire is sold per spool and is available in extra small, small, medium and brassie sizes. Brassie sizing is in between a small and medium size.
