Upavon Fly Fishing Foam Cutters

The Upavon Fly Fishing Foam Cutters effortlessly and easily cut your foam for fly tying use.

These cutter are made in the UK from stainless steel tool grade bars and are easy and simple to use.

To maintain performance it is advised to use in a fast drill and keep the cutter sharp. Avoid cutting through onto hard surfaces by placing a soft material underneath the foam.

If required, you can use 25% detergent and a 75% water solution to lubricate the tool for a smoother cut. To sharpen the cutters place them into a drill and apply lubricant to a whetstone and run the end of the cutter along the stone at a 30 degree angle.

The Upavon Fly Fishing Foam Cutters are available in individual sizes or as a complete set.

Each pack is supplied with a small instructional/information card.

6 x Gunville Foam Cutters (3mm, 4mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm, 7.0mm and 9.0mm)

Dimensions: 57mm long and have a cutting depth of 45mm.

3mm or 1/10" - Perfect for detached bodies: Daddies, Ants, Mayfly, Hawthorns and Hoppers.

4mm or 9/64” - Can be used for larger bodies, small booby eyes, suspenders and emergers.

5.0mm or 3/16” - Great for booby eyes, beetles and FABs.

6.0mm or 15/64" - Great for booby eyes and FABs.

7.0mm or 9/32” - Excellent size for poppers, large booby eyes and small indicators.

9.0mm or 1/28" - Perfect for larger flies such as poppers, snakes and bungs/large indicators.
