Stroft GTM Monofilament is a legendary fishing line that has been voted the number one monofilament in the world. It is a highly successful line throughout the globe, incredibly strong and supple, suited to a wide variety of fishing applications.
Stroft, a German company with over 45 years of experience, is committed to utilizing the newest technology available to offer the best fishing lines possible. The name "STROFT" is a combination of the English words "strong" and "soft," reflecting the core philosophy of the brand.
The line is extruded from a polyamide-alloy and then finely tuned in a range of different processes that govern the final quality. This process is constantly being improved, with the main aim to maximize the line's breaking strain while improving its highly elastic suppleness. A silicon-PTFE (teflon) tempering is also used, which increases abrasion and UV light resistance, knot strength, and slickness.
