Description / Shakespeare Salt Surf Long Cast Reel
The Shakespeare Salt Surf Long Cast Reel are a fantastic budget friendly surfcasting reel and will pair extremely well with the salt surf casting rod.
These reels are fitted with a high capacity spool that allows you to cast extreme distances far beyond the surf, reaching the fish that are laying past the breakers.
The aluminium spool is extremely lightweight and is supported by an exceptionally smooth operating drag system which allows you to lock down when casting extreme distances.
The 7+1 stainless steel ball bearing system in combination with the strong gearing is assembled perfectly to prevent any bumps or kinks whilst casting and offering an incredibly smooth operation.
The anti-twist line-roller allow these reels to handle any line you will want to use whether braid, mono or fluro you can use whatever suits your needs.
These reels are all fully saltwater resistant to keep them performing to the best of their ability for longer.
The Shakespeare Salt Surf Long Cast Reel is available in multiple sizes for you to choose from, comes in a silver and blue colour scheme and comes with a spare graphite spool.
