The Shakespeare Oracle II Stillwater Outfit is a stillwater fly fishing outfit that comes with the Oracle 2 Stillwater Fly Rod matched with an Sigma Fly Reel and fitted with an Airflo Velocity Floating Fly Line.
This kit is completed with our professional, line loading service which includes backing and braided loops if required. Please select either left or right hand wind from our drop down menu.
About the Oracle 2 Stillwater Fly Rod
The Shakespeare Oracle 2 Stillwater Fly Rod series consists of a wide range of light, fast action rods, ideal for the fanatic stillwater angler!
Superseding the Agility 2 range, the Oracle 2 Stillwater range is constructed using a carbon fibre blank, producing a crisp, fast action and a light in hand feel that vastly improves casting performance. The carbon fibre blank helps keep a slim diameter rod blank and enhances the rod's durability.
Each rod is fitted with an aluminium up locking reel seat with an Oracle 2 logo engraved. All models are fitted with a AAA grade cork handles and durable lined stripper guides.
The 9ft #5 model and the 9ft #6 model feature half wells handles and there is a full wells handle fitted to the 9ft6, 10ft and the 11ft models .
The 9ft6, 10ft models and the 11ft are supplied with a removable fighting butt. This gives you double handed casting capabilities when required.
The rods have a 4 piece construction and are supplied in a hard cordura tube with carry handle. This makes it easy to carry and store in your car when travelling to your favourite stillwater venue.
The Shakespeare Oracle 2 Stillwater Fly Rods are finished off in a stunning grey colour and come in a range of sizes for you to choose from.

About the Sigma Fly Reels
The Sigma fly reels have been developed using a light weight reinforced graphite body and spool.
These reels will balance the Sigma fly rods perfectly.

About the Velocity Fly Line
The Airflo Velocity is the perfect line for those new to the sport or just getting back into it.
Although the Velocity is an entry level line, Airflo have raised the bar beyond what most people expect from a low cost fly line.
The line has been developed to be easy to cast, meaning the lines taper off quickly to swiftly and efficiently load the rod. This gives you the opportunity to feel the rod loading, with a minimum of effort. Their user friendly taper design (mainly the long 14ft rear taper) allows the line to grow with you as you improve and increase your casting range.
The Velocity fly line has many of the features found on their premium lines, for example their unique glass smooth, hardwearing polymer coating. This unique polymer coating is unlike any other manufacturers coating, mainly as it wont crack like PVC coatings do. Not only that but their polymer means this line is equally at home in both fresh and saltwater.
Airflo's self lubricating line system is another unique feature that gives this fly line incredible shootability, in the right hands this line exceeds the ability of most other budget lines.
To further ease the life of newcomers to the sport, the line now includes a useful loading zone indicator on the rear taper that allows you to easily visualise when you have the optimum amount of line outside the tip of the fly rod.
Having a fly line with features like this will ultimately lead to longer, more efficient and more accurate casts. There are of course better fly lines on the market, although at this price point we doubt there are many that can equal the features and ability of the Airflo Velocity.
