The Sage Shift Fly Reel is the ultimate multipurpose workhorse, meticulously engineered to cover the entire spectrum of fly fishing applications. The Shift comes equipped with Sage's renowned SCS Drag System (Sealed Carbon System). This powerful and reliable system features a new and innovative redundant seal system explicitly tuned to prevent salt or freshwater intrusion. This ensures the drag remains consistent and corrosion-free, providing reliable, consistent, and repeatable drag pressure when you need it most.
Control is absolute with the One Revolution Drag Knob. It allows for easy and precise adjustment, featuring 19 numbered and dented settings. This means you can quickly dial in your preferred drag setting and consistently return to it, providing the finesse needed for delicate presentations and the stopping power for aggressive fish.
Taking cues from the versatile Spectrum series, the Shift blends the best of a narrow spool width with a large arbour design. This combination is key to:
