The RIO Elite Scandi Launch Kit is a complete, ready-to-fish solution, combining RIO’s best-selling Scandi tapers with cutting-edge technology for maximum adaptability on the river. This system provides an ideal, modern setup for effortless casting and precise presentation with double-handed rods.
The core of the system is the Elite Scandi Launch head, which features a rear-loaded taper that concentrates weight directly into the D-loop. This design ensures smooth, powerful rod loading and a clean, controlled turnover, making it easy to cast gracefully even when restricted by tight casting situations.
The head is finished with RIO’s ultra-slick SlickCast coating, ensuring long-lasting durability and the least friction for superior shooting distance.
