Description / Hareline Griffin Hook Hackle Gauge
The Hareline Griffin Hook Hackle Gauge allows you to accurately measure hook gapes and hackle feather sizes.
This handy gauge fits most vice stems and can rotate freely to be moved out of the way when not in use.
To measure hackle, bend the hackle around the pin at the bottom of the gauge and the hackle will flare out, the tips will indicate on the curved graph the correct size of the hackle.
To determine hook size, simply place the hook on the hooks pictured on the gauge and see which one it measures up to.
