Introducing the Guideline Nova Cassette Fly Reel, representing the dawn of a new era of easy to use cassette fly reels. The minimal touch press release makes changing spools incredibly easy and efficient!

This reel is crafted from recycled raw aluminium, free of single-use plastics, aligning with Guidline’s vision to significantly reduce our environmental footprint as a business. The spool features latticed spoke facets and vertical cross arms, increasing structural integrity while maintaining a lightweight design.

An innovative "Minimal-Touch" press release design allows for rapid and easy changeover of cassette spools, perfect for the time-sensitive competition angler. The Nova Cassette Fly Reel features Polymer Cassette spools made from recycled PCR (Post Consumer Resins), reducing environmental impact while maintaining top-notch performance.

Each reel comes with one cassette mounted on the frame and two additional spools, providing a total of three cassettes per reel. The cassettes are always black in colour, offering a sleek and uniform appearance.

The Nova Cassette Fly Reel #68 and the Nova #79 share the same frame and spool sizing, making them fully interchangeable. This means you can mix and match spools and frames between the two models effortlessly.

Equipped with an optimised carbon drag system, the Nova Cassette Fly Reel delivers fit-for-purpose torque outputs tailored to each reel size. A new rear fixing drag plate provides extra drag stability, ensuring smooth and consistent performance during fights. The new incorporated wave springs maintain consistent drag pressure, enhancing control and precision.

These reels include a built-in counterbalance to minimise componentry and enhance overall balance and performance making for a more comfortable session out on the water even after many hours.

Each reel is supplied in a recycled 600D fabric reel and spool case protecting your investment when on the go or when storing.
