Cortland Fo-Tech Fly Line

The Cortland Fo-Tech Fly Lines include a wide range of densities to cover a variety of trout fly fishing scenarios and give incredible line control and shoot-ability at a distance.

All the lines in this range have a 130ft total length and include welded loops on the front and back for fast rigging. Each line is also two coloured to allow you to clearly identify the head and the running line.

Floating
The floating line features an aggressive 43ft head design and a 130ft overall line length. The unique taper design loads quickly and shoots smoothly. Ideal for fishing from a boat or bank when floating lines are needed. A colour change at the head and running line ensures line control and promotes better shoot-ability.

Intermediate
The Intermediate line sinks at 2-3 inches per second and is built with an aggressive taper to load rods quickly in a boat or when angling from a bank. Perfect sink rate for fishing flies just under the surface at far distances.

Type 3
The Type 3 fly line is built for fishing flies below the surface when intermediate lines aren’t getting you down enough. The aggressive taper design and a 130ft overall line length gives you an ideal sinking line when long casts are needed.

The Type 5 sinking line puts your flies deeper in the water column when fish are down. The density compensated sinking material gives you a perfect presentation in the water column. An ideal colour change at the head and running line ensures line control and promotes better shoot ability.
