Back in the 1910's, VMC’s illustrious heritage in hook production began in east France. In fact, Director Charles Viellard is quick to recognise that the hook making expertise lies in England, and in the 1920s, ten families moved over to England to set up the company's new hook department in the family's ironworks, and the rest is history. Since this momentous move, VMC has been a proud and sustainable hook production factory, even forming a US subsidiary in 1981, solidifying their place among the top hook companies in the world. Producing up to 4 million hooks daily, VMC has continued to push the envelope when it comes to hook designs, having some of the best lure and bait hooks for a range of applications. They have also expanded their range to include a range of different terminal tackles for predator, game and saltwater fishing.
