Vision Grand Daddy Fly Line

The Vision Grand Daddy Fly Line is the offspring of Vision’s incredibly popular Big Daddy fly lines. Just like its predecessor the Grand Daddy has an aggressive front taper has been shortened in an effort to improve the turnover of large pike flies.

The line is constructed with a short head at only 8.5m (27.9ft) and the rear taper has been lengthened to improve stability in the air when false casting and shooting line.

The coating on the Grand Daddy is extremely slick and supple which remains memory free, even in cold conditions. On top of that, the low stretch core really helps you to feel the takes and set the hook. It also transfers casting energy better than more traditional cores.

Additionally, the ready-made loops at both ends make it easy to attach the line to your backing line and leader.

The Sinking Grand Daddy Lines utilise Vision’s Sliding Density concept. This concept is that the density gradually increases to the tip of the line. This excludes intermediate, which is a classic full intermediate line and 30 metres in length.
