Veniard Schlappen Feathers

The Veniard Schlappen Feathers are taken from the centre section of the saddle piece or the tail feathers of a rooster and are dyed vibrant colours for use on Salmon and Steelhead flies.

With large hackles and their natural webby style, these feathers give a very natural movement in the water with lots of mobility. This makes them perfect for larger Salmon and Steelhead patterns. You can also use the Schlappen feathers to tie a collar or beard on Streamer patterns.

The Veniard Schlappen Feathers are all dyed in various different bright colours that you can select from our drop down menu. These feathers are supplied in a large pack with as strung bundles.
