Varivas Catfish Hook

The Varivas Catfish Hooks are a super strong reliable range that is perfect for the angler looking to tame the largest of fish species. These hooks are ideal for utilising with a range of boat and shore fishing rigs.

Produced in Japan these hooks have been made with the 4x extra strong forged wire which will not bend even under the most extreme pressure when taming a monster, whilst they still maintain that super sharp curved needle point that provides a clean hook up every time.

Designed with a square shaped bend and shorter shank these are ideal for using with fish baits and will prevent the hook point from becoming masked resulting in missed takes. The longer point design on these hooks also helps prevent hook pulls during long intense battles.

The offset beaked point offers greater penetration and a far more secure hold giving you 100% confidence when taming that fish of a lifetime. The out turned eye makes them an ideal choice for snelling.

Featuring a range of sizes within the range with the smaller sizes being ideal for targeting species like congers and rays whilst the larger sizes are ideal for tying on pennel rigs when targeting tope. These hooks are incredibly strong which has made them incredibly popular with skate anglers fishing from the shore.
