Trident Hangover

The Trident Hangover is the finest “up and over” system available, designed and developed by Trident Tackle in the UK.

The Hangover system is made up of three components - the Hangover line guide, a stainless steel spring and a rig crimp. These three items combined offer anglers the ultimate streamlined solution for tying ‘up & over’ rigs. The up and over is a versatile rig with many applications where a long flowing trace is required to present your bait on the sea bed away from your lead.

Once the rig is constructed the hook is placed in a bait clip and the snood runs up and over the Hangover system where the spring keeps the snood under tension, ensuring it stays clipped up and streamlined during the cast, upon impact with the water your bait clip releases your hook and introduces slack into the snood allowing the Hangover line guide to release and present your rig perfectly.
