Textreme Power Thread Small is a technical marvel in fly tying, engineered from a unique polymer that achieves an incredibly high breaking load relative to its fine diameter—up to ten times stronger than steel of the same size. This makes it the ideal choice for tyers who require a very resistant, yet thin, thread for demanding applications.
This 50 Denier thread offers remarkable versatility. It excels at creating smooth and uniform underbodies on medium-sized hooks and small streamers, but its real power is revealed when working with difficult materials.
It handles the compression required for elk and deer hair without breaking. Furthermore, the thread can be split for loop-style tying without the need for doubling the thread, streamlining complex processes.
The thread is available in a non-fading black and a natural white colour that can be easily customized using a waterproof permanent marker.
