Veniard Tail Fibres - Fibbets

The Veniard Tail Fibres – Fibbets are the perfect material for fly tying a natural and delicately styled tail onto Trout dry flies.

As the name would suggest, the tail fibre fibbets are used primarily for tailing material on dry flies. These fibres are highly durable and have floatation properties to provide additional buoyancy. These fibbets also act as a balancer to provide stability to dry flies.

Some common flies found with the tail fibre fibbets are the Lake Double Decker, the Blue Winged Olive CDC and the BWO Stacked Hackle fly.

The tail fibbets may differ ever so slightly in length due to the natural fibres but are approximately 4cm in length. In each pack there are plenty of tail fibres provided for a good amount of use.
