Snowbee XS Plus Thistle Down Fly Line

The innovative Snowbee XS Plus Thistle Down Fly Line is one of the most thinnest, supple, weight forward line profiles on the market today and is primarily designed for river and light fishing on small still waters. This line provides phenomenal finesse, stealth and accuracy and was awarded the Best New Fly Line in Europe at EFTTEX 2014.

The Thistle Down is a ‘jaw-dropping’ line, designed with superior, refined components to give the line very little weight and allows it to deliver on stealth and accuracy at the same time. The line creates minimal drag when casting due to the thin diameter and will cast easily through nearly any kind of wind due to the drag coefficient being so small. The minimal drag will also help you maintain speed with little effort and give precision fly presentation.

The head of this line has a long, compound front taper and slender running line behind for effortless casting and extended presentation, to attain whatever range is necessary. The line features Snowbee’s super-smooth Nano technology coating to improve line speed and provide extreme sensitivity which is excellent if being used for nymphing.

The Snowbee XS Plus Thistle Down Fly Line has both ends are pre-looped with hand-whipped micro-loops to maintain the line’s outstanding performance. It is available in a two-tone colour which is a Shamrock Olive head with Buckskin running line.
