Description / Simms ProDry Gore-Tex Jacket
The redesigned Simms ProDry Gore-Tex Jacket is a weather-proof defence system that will keep all anglers well and truly dry. This innovative jacket provides superior performance and includes state-of-the-art GoreTex Pro Shell fabric technology.
This redesign has constructed the ProDry Jacket to be 25% lighter for enhanced stowability and easier movement. The jacket has an incredible 3-layer Gore-Tex Pro Shell that is 100% waterproof, windproof and highly breathable for exceptional comfort. If you are out on a boat, the long length of the jacket and the high performing standard of protection makes this jacket an excellent choice for you.
The inner fabric of this jacket also features Gore-Tex Micro Grid Backer technology which vastly improves the garment's performance. This technology uses an innovative internal backer fabric to enhance abrasion and snag resistance as well as providing high breathability and reducing the weight of the jacket. This fabric also allows you to easily slide the jacket over mid layers and greatly improves your comfortability.
For durability and toughness, the jacket is also built from a 100% nylon face, a 40d rip-stop body and 70d reinforcement zones for enhanced strength and lifetime of the fabric. The features of the jacket include a Dry Cuff design which has a Velcro adjustment for comfort and also locks water out of your sleeve. The tuck-away 3-point adjustable Storm Hood, will keep water out, keep you dry and it is large enough to wear well with a hat.
As for storage, the Simms ProDry Gore-Tex Jacket includes high-capacity zipped chest pockets that are secured with water repellent YKK AquaGuard VISLON zippers. There are also 2 zipped microfleece-lined hand warmer pockets and 2 inner chest pockets.
Finally, the Cohaesive cord lock system intuitively manages internal adjustment and will provide a great deal of comfort and a secure fit.
