Prepare for cold mornings and unpredictable weather on the water with the Simms Midstream Hooded Jacket, a technical mid layer designed to provide warmth without the bulk. This jacket features Lavalan Wool insulation, which provides warmth in damp conditions and has natural anti-odour properties.
The insulation is body-mapped to provide strategic warmth and reduce bulk where it counts. The body of the jacket features 60G wool lofted insulation, while the sleeves, hood, and side panels have 40G insulation. This natural, renewable solution for temperature and moisture management is also ideal for travel, daily wear, and backcountry stays.
The jacket is crafted from abrasion-resistant nylon textiles for both the face and liner, with a C0 DWR finish for water-resistance.
An adjustable hood ensures a secure fit while maintaining your peripheral vision. The jacket also features a YKK conceal-zippered chest pocket and two concealed-zippered hand pockets for secure storage. Two interior mesh dump pockets provide space for gear, and the jacket can be conveniently stowed into one of them for easy packing.
Lycra finished cuffs allow for easy layering under outerwear, and a drawcord adjustable hem helps to seal in warmth.
