Description / Simms BugStopper SunGaiter
The Simms BugStopper SunGaiter provides you with fantastic protection from the sun and from those annoying, biting bugs. It is lightweight, quick-drying and breathable, allowing you to focus on what matters, fishing!
There are laser-cut breathing holes at the front for ventilation and this SunGaiter has a long cape for improved coverage at the neckline along with a taller fit at the back so it can slide securely up and over a cap.
This SunGaiter uses a special Insect Shield Repellent to repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, midges and more. The active ingredient in this repellent is so tightly bonded to the fabric fibres that it retains effective repellence throughout the lifetime of the product.
Furthermore, the SolarFlex fabric has an Ultraviolet Protection Fabric of 50 which means it only allows 1/50th of the sun’s UV rays to pass through. As a result, this means the fabric will reduce your skin’s UV radiation exposure significantly.
