Shimano Speedmaster II Lever Drag

The Shimano Speedmaster II Lever Drag is a new addition to Shimano’s lever drag line up offering exceptional value at a mid priced point!

Designed with Hagane body technology which is produced from high rigidity aluminium and magnesium this creates stiffness and impact resistance creating a more solid durable reel and removes body flexing. This also results in a rock solid housing and support for the internal gearing and greater efficiency throughout the reel.

With a compact body creates a smaller overall reel whilst still maintaining the same power and line capacity of a reel the same size. Fitted with a Super Free bearing supported gearing system that eliminates friction on the spool during the cast.

Each reel is fitted with SARB bearings which high corrosion resistant with an extra shield for improved protection against sand slat and dust making it extremely reliable and durable in the toughest of saltwater conditions.

With a two speed gearing system which is fantastic if you are for large powerful fish and you need an extra hand to get your fish in the net. It is also a benefit when you are required to retrieve lures and baits at a high speed.
