Shimano Curado BFS

The Shimano Curado BFS goes above and beyond every other BFS reel on the market, offering exceptional casting distance with thinner lines and lighter lures.

With this exceptionally lightweight reel it is possible to cast lightweight lures and rigs with ease. With the smooth and powerful rotation being achieved with the X-SHIP system, all the inner parts have been protected by a strong and rigid HAGANE body.

Something unique to this reel is that once hooked into a fish specimen or not you are in for a treat thanks to the exciting drag sound which is often completely forgotten about when it comes to bait casting reels, this addition makes sure that every hook up turns into an exciting battle.

Built with Shimano’s X-SHIP technology which is a combination of features designed to create a much more efficient fishing experience, by positioning the pinion gear close to the centerline of the large diameter drive gear this reel can transfer more power from the handle to the rotor.

The Hagane body is produced from a high rigidity aluminium or magnesium creating a stiffness and impact resistance whilst completely eliminating the flexing of the body. This creates a rock solid housing for all of the important internals of the reel and drives closer towards perfect efficiency.
