Shakespeare Shear Pin

The Shakespeare Shear Pin is a replacement part for your Shakespeare outboard and is a sacrificial part that will break or shear if your propeller hits rocks or the bottom.

This shear pin is a small cylindrical piece of metal that will break or shear if your propeller hits rocks or the bottom. This will stop your prop from spinning and means you are less likely to cause serious damage to other parts of your outboard.

If your shear pin breaks and needs replaced, this is the perfect replacement or can be used as a spare to keep on hand for emergencies.

The Shakespeare Shear Pin is supplied individually and loose with no additional packaging other than our own postal packaging.
