The Shakespeare Salt Beach rest is a beach tripod that is constructed from a lightweight powder-coated aluminium. The two-piece central angular bar extends to 2.04m (7') and the two front round legs are also telescopic which can be set at various heights thanks to its click-lock mechanism, which allows the rest to be set in a variety of different ways giving you complete stability on the roughest and uneven terrains.
The Shakespeare beach rest is designed to support up to two beachcaster/shore rods. This is advantageous in that it supports your rods and keeps them from resting on the harsh coastal terrain. It also eliminates anglers from holding a rod throughout the day which may cause fatigue and discomfort. The beach rest frees up your hands and allows you to tie rigs, fish efficiently and contemplate alternative fishing tactics - making it the perfect fishing station.
As mentioned earlier the Shakespeare Salt Beach rest is constructed of aluminium meaning that it is lightweight. This in conjunction of its ability to fold down to a compact size of only 1.25 metres means it's easy to stow away in a sea fishing rod holdall and carry over long distances.
This Shakespeare tripod is the perfect choice for any UK shore angler that is targeting various sea species using a multitude of bait fishing techniques. A very robust and practical design that ticks all the boxes.
