Description / Shakespeare FS Firebird Reel
The Shakespeare FS Firebird Reel is an excellent entry level free spool reel and has an affordable price point!
Perfect for newcomers to the sport or as a second reel, these reels are made with quality components and have a graphite handle and a graphite spool.
The free spool functionality is used by flicking the switch at the back. This engages a secondary clutch system that allows a fish to take line freely under a light preset tension. To disengage the free spool system simply turn the handle, the Free Spool facility is automatically shut off and the normal drag setting is resumed allowing you to play and control the fish effectively.
Pre-spooled with mono these reels will be the perfect addition to the Firebird range of rods and will keep you catching all season!
The Shakespeare FS Firebird Reel is available in multiple sizes to suit your needs and comes pre spooled with monofilament line.
