The Shakespeare Bottom Hugger Rigs have been weighted with a lead. This allows you to use the rig even in strong current ideal for shore fishing for flounder and plaice.
The rig can be used for different applications from the beach. The hook lengths are attached to the metal booms with small rotating swivels to prevent line twist. The short length of the hook lengths makes these rigs extra effective!
