Introducing the Scientific Anglers Magnitude Smooth Infinity Clear Tip Floating Fly Line, the ultimate trout line for the angler targeting wary fish in crystal clear water.

Designed with a 10-foot clear tip section that seamlessly integrates with a coloured main body. This tip section is built from the same high-float material as the rest of the line but without any pigment, making it virtually invisible to fish. It maintains neutral buoyancy and sits high on the surface without sinking or sagging.

This design eliminates the visible “shadow line” seen on clear, flat water — especially in sunny conditions whilst its thin diameter reduces splash and visual impact, making it ideal for fishing to educated, high-pressure fish.

Featuring DuraCoat technology, a dual-layer polymer construction that encases the braided core. Each layer has a different function, the inner layer is made of a supple, memory-resistant material that grips the core well and maintains smooth handling even in variable temperatures.

The Outer Layer (contact with guides and water) is produced from a tougher, more abrasion-resistant compound that resists nicks, cracking, and water absorption. It also enhances slickness and overall line longevity.

Additional EST+ Slickness Additives help these lines glide like never before. This advanced, eco-friendly slickness formula is infused directly into the coating (not just applied on top like conventional line dressings). As it’s embedded throughout the coating, it doesn’t wear off — your line remains ultra-slick even after repeated use and cleaning.

The Infinity Taper is the “Do-It-All” workhorse and is one of Scientific Anglers’ most popular general-purpose tapers. A moderate front taper – long enough for finesse but with enough mass for small lures and nymphs. The long rear taper and handling section – keeps the head balanced and lengthens casting control.

Featuring a half size heavy design these lines load modern fast-action rods more effectively, especially at short to medium range. It also gives you a better feel when roll casting or using single handed Spey techniques.
