Salmo Bullhead

The Salmo Bullhead is a crankbait style lure that is one of the oldest models in the Salmo range and is one of the only imitations of a bullhead or flathead minnow on the market.

This hard lure is a proven fish catcher for predators on many different fisheries and venues and works great on small, fast water streams to the big lakes. With a unique, flat head design, a solid polycarbonate lip and the shape of the lure, this creates an enticing wobble action that predators find impossible to resist!

In fast-flowing small streams you can fish the Bullhead both upstream and downstream, the most effective method is casting upstream then retrieving the lure in an arc across the flow back to your feet. In larger rivers it is best to cast the Bullhead upstream then retrieve it as slowly as possible with numerous pauses mixed with gentle twitches.

Each lure is decorated with stunning details and patterns with vibrant, life-like colours and they are all fitted with premium black nickel VMC hooks.
