The Sage Igniter Fly Rod is a step above what the casual angler is used to in a rod. It comes equipped with specific premium features that really shine when you need them most and will carry you through most situations you didn't think you could handle before.

The Igniter's features include a high line speed taper to carry large amounts of line at great distances, allowing it to completely cut through strong head winds with finesse. The Igniter is lightweight but still has the sheer power for heavy fishing scenarios, allowing you to fish weighted flies on sinking lines and still achieve incredible distances.

With KonneticHD technology, the blanks are built out of a new fibre composite material that is a lot higher in density than your standard blank. This results in lighter, stronger, blanks with unmatched control and recovery speeds. With KonneticHD technology, the blanks flat out perform at a whole other level with amplified strength-to-weight ratios. The blanks themselves are a unique chipotle colour and feature Fuji ceramic stripper guides, and hard-chromed snake guides.

The Sage Igniter Fly Rod comes in various lengths and weights that you can choose from using our drop-down menu above. The rod is supplied with a black rod bag along with a black powder-coated aluminium rod tube branded with the Sage medallion.

The 4 - 6 weights are perfect for freshwater applications and feature an aluminium up-locking reel seat along with a snub-nosed half-wells cork handle.

The 6 - 10 weights are suited more towards saltwater and feature the same aluminium up-locking reel seat only with an integrated hidden hook keeper this time. It boasts a full-wells cork handle with an EVA fighting butt for those hard-fighting fish.
