Description / Ross Reels Evolution LTX
The Ross Reels Evolution LTX is an award winning, highly stylish quality fly reel, with an incredible 4 times stronger drag system than its predecessor allowing you to easily tame those extremely powerful saltwater species like redfish, bonefish and snook!
The fully sealed ultra smooth drag system is based on the original Evolution LT series and the engineering team at Ross Reels have taken this to a whole new level. With 4 times more stopping power it is ideal for taming those long quick runs your faced with during the fight with those highly prized saltwater species and salmon. While having the extra stopping power it still features the same iconic feel and sound making the smaller size options the perfect trout reel.
Each reel is manufactured from 6061-T6 proprietary aluminium alloy making them ideal for fishing in both fresh and salt water and makes them incredibly strong while maintaining a lightweight in hand feel.
Featuring a large arbour design for quicker line retrieval and to help prevent fly line memory when the line is being stored on the reel. The spool also features an innovative line channel for cleanly hiding arbour knots when winding on backing giving these reels and even smoother performance and look. The signature bell shape arbour design helps add additional strength to the reel whilst self servicing the fly line as it is retrieved across the face of the spool.
Each reel is fitted with a handle machined from canvas phenolic rod which reduces the weight significantly, increases the grip even when wet and adds additional durability to the handle.
These improvements take this reel from great to exceptional, no matter your choice of venue fresh or saltwater these reels will continue to deliver unrivalled performance.
