Description / RIO Phil Rowley Ambassador Series Midge Tip Hover Fly Line
Introducing the all new RIO Phil Rowley Ambassador Series Midge Tip Fly Line, a simply must have fly line in any stillwater anglers tackle bag. This 3ft slow tip fly line is perfect for fishing your flies right up in the water column and excels when fishing nymphs and buzzers.
The 3ft Slow tip on this fly line makes it a great choice for when those fish are just below the surface. The Hover tip helps to get your flies through the surface film without dragging them through the layer of feeding fish.
Produced with RIO’s innovative SlickCast technology this lines glides through the rings with ease and in testing lasted 33% longer than its nearest competitor. The slickness of this coating allows you to generate high line speeds with ease making long distance and accurate casts effortless, helping you to cover those feeding fish accurately.
The supple low stretch core provides incredible feel allowing you to detect subtle takes whilst the supple nature means these lines lie straight and memory free on the water – helping prevent missed takes and put more fish in your net.
Featuring DualTone technology these lines have a colour change that is highly visible between the head and running line enabling you to identify the perfect loading point every time whilst also allowing you to gauge how much line you have on the water.
Each line comes with an integrated tippet ring on the front end which provides you with a neat attachment point for tying on your leaders. This addition of the tippet ring over a welded loop allows for far quicker changes when out on the water whilst it also glides through the rod guides far easier than a loop eliminating the risk of any potential sticking.
