RIO Phil Rowley Ambassador Series Aqualux Fly Line

Introducing the all new RIO Phil Rowley Ambassador Series Aqualux Fly Line, designed and developed specifically for fishing on stillwaters this super easy casting intermediate fly line is a must have in any trout anglers tackle bag!

The Aqualux is a fast intermediate fly line and is an efficient line for covering the upper layers from depths of around 2 to 6ft. Incredibly versatile this line can be used with a number of techniques such as fishing the washing line with small nymphs and buzzers on warmer days to pulling lure patterns in the depths of winter.

This line has been produced with RIO’s innovative SlickCast technology which allows this line to glide through the guides with ease and in testing these fly lines lasted 33% longer than their nearest competitor. The slickness of this coating enables you to generate high line speeds with ease making long distance and accurate casts effortless - crucial when fishing pressured stillwaters.

These lines feature a short head which makes them very easy to cast, whilst it also helps to reduce the number of false casts to put out a long line – resulting in more fishing time. The head is integrated into a super thin running line which helps reduce friction resulting in your line travelling at much higher speed giving you more distance.

Designed with a low stretch core for maximum feel this line enables you to detect even the most subtle of takes even when fishing at distance and provides you better control whilst playing fish to help you successfully land more fish.

This range of lines all come with integrated tippet rings on the front end which provides you with a neat attachment point for tying on your leaders. The addition of the tippet ring over a welded loop allows for far quicker changes when out on the water whilst it also slides through the rod guides far easier than a loop. The tippet ring design is also far more durable and does not wear through after prolonged use a welded loop would.
