RIO InTouch VersiTip II Fly Line

The RIO InTouch VersiTip II Fly Line is a powerful, easy-casting, interchangeable tip line designed specifically for the traveling angler. It is the ultimate all-in-one line system, allowing you to adapt to a wide range of fishing and water conditions without the need for multiple spools. Built with RIO's most advanced technologies, the VersiTip II delivers ultra-low stretch performance and makes distance casting easy.

The core of the InTouch VersiTip II is its incredible versatility. Packaged with a selection of four 15ft tips, this system allows anglers to switch their tips as fishing conditions change, from fishing dries on the surface to getting down deep. The included tips are:

Floating (F): A straw-coloured floating tip for fishing flies close to the surface film.

Intermediate (I): A grey-coloured tip with a sink rate of 1.5-2 ips (inches per second), perfect for fishing just below the surface.

Sink 3 (S3): A brown-coloured tip with a sink rate of 3-4 ips, ideal for fishing mid-water or in moderate currents.

Sink 6 (S6): A black-coloured tip with a faster sink rate of 6-7 ips, designed for getting flies down deep and fast.

The line is built on RIO's revolutionary ultra-low stretch ConnectCore Technology, which provides the maximum in sensitivity, control, and performance. The reduced stretch allows for enhanced take detection, more positive hook sets, and better control when playing a fish.

The powerful taper of the VersiTip II is designed for easy casting, making distance easy to achieve. A unique mending and handling section at the back end of the head enables anglers to mend effectively and control the way the fly fishes at range, a crucial feature for fishing varied currents.

Each of the four interchangeable tips comes with ultra-strong, slim welded loops on both ends for super-fast and secure rigging. This allows you to quickly change tips in the field, so you can spend less time fumbling with knots and more time fishing.
