The RIO Elite Bonefish Fly Line is a high-performance tool meticulously engineered for the discerning angler targeting the most elusive and wary saltwater fish. Designed with a long head and back taper for precise presentations to spooky bones, this line combines advanced technology and a specialised taper to give you the ultimate advantage on the flats.

This line features a long head and back taper designed to smooth out your loops and make long, efficient casts with minimum false casting. The mid-length front taper provides excellent turnover, effortlessly delivering typical bonefish flies with the delicacy needed to avoid spooking fish.

Built on RIO’s revolutionary low-memory DirectCore, this line offers superior sensitivity, allowing you to feel even the most subtle of takes. The core is extremely easy to anneal (stretch) and lies perfectly straight on the water, yet retains the stiffness needed for casting in hot conditions and delivering hard, solid strip sets to secure the hook.

The Elite Bonefish line is built with SlickCast, RIO’s exceptionally slick and durable coating. It's the slickest coating on the market, producing the least amount of friction ever measured in a fly line. This technology ensures your line shoots through the guides with minimal effort, resulting in unprecedented casting distance and effortless shooting.

The line features RIO’s SureFire tricolored measuring system, which makes it easy to gauge distances and load the line with a quick glance. The Bahamian colourway has its first colour change at 30ft (a crucial distance for gauging fish), providing increased accuracy and distance control.

The line comes with a durable welded loop on both the front and back for fast, reliable rigging to your leader and backing. The EasyID printed line marking system allows you to quickly and easily identify the line's weight.

The line is built with a powerful core to handle the explosive runs of bonefish. The core strength is a robust 30lb (WF6-WF7) and 45lb (WF8-WF9), giving you the power to fight and land fish with confidence.
