Rapala Shadow Rap

The Rapala Shadow Rap is the ultimate lure for mimicking a minnow in trouble, creating a horizontal struggle with a vertical fade action; this jerkbait lure will certainly trigger fish to strike.

Unlike most jerkbaits, the Shadow Rap doesn’t continue on a forward plane when jerked. Instead it kicks almost 180 degrees right then left, so it can be fished in nearly every place with very little forward travel. This will help keep the flickering fade of the Shadow Rap right in a fish's strike zone.

The three main attractants of this lure’s action is on the kick, on the slow fading fall and on the snap back to life. After staying in the strike zone it will keep its head down, ready to work and the fixed weight system allows lure to fade slowly like a dying minnow. Then after a sharp snap and generous slack line, it will actually spin around and look backwards.

The Shadow Rap is built with the same quality and durable components as expected from Rapala and has incredible life-like finishes for added attraction. Each lure is also fitted with premium VMC black nickel round bend hooks.
