Rapala Jointed Shad Rap

The Rapala Jointed Shad Rap features a strong kicking action that sends out irresistible vibrations and a loud rattle that exaggerates the action of a wounded baitfish that predators will find impossible to resist.

This lure is built with an ultra responsive action and will swim at some of the slowest speeds. When paused, the body will float and the jointed design helps to create a reactive action, even during a very slow retrieve.

You can use a sweeping-style of retrieve to produce a wild presentation which will perfectly imitate a startled baitfish that is trying to escape a pursuing predator. This movement will create loud rattle patterns, ensuring to catch the eye of any fish nearby.

If you stop the retrieve in between sweeps, the lure will rest and slowly float, giving following predators time to strike.
